Excellent food, excellent service, excellent margaritas! Will be visiting again and again!

Food service margaritas are all excellent!!! Great experience. We get pretty good Mexican food in Denver. But this food is authentic and extremely delicious!!!A must when in Alamosa !!!

We were never sure who our server was. We had a female take our order, a male bring us our food. One of the meals was the wrong order. It was suppose to be pork enchiladas but it was veggie enchiladas. We got a check from the female who we hadn't seen since we ordered our food and another check from the male server. The food was ok but we wouldn't recommend going here. They sure didn't have it together!!

Just passing through but couldn't resist for lunch. Clean and comfortable, with wonderfully pleasant hostess and staff. Food was excellent! Flavorful and fresh. We will be back again...

Great place to go eat after the great sand dunes. Free chips and salsa. Dinners about $10+per person.

It's been a while since I went here but I remembered this place and it was so phenomenal so I went searching but didn't know the name. I eventually had to look at my timeline and found it holy cow this place is great. HOMEMADE TORTILLAS!! I think a Mexican buffet is the best idea ever and Calvillo's does it so well. There are so many more options than any other Mexican restaurant I've been to and the food is great quality and super flavorful. I remember a friendly staff and anytime I pass through near the area going here will be my first priority.

This was a nice little restaurant in Alamosa. It was very clean! I had the panchos burrito with red sauce on top and stuffed with ground beef.I would definitely go back 🙂

This place has excellent food! Great customer service , and provided social distances.

We were on vacation and stopped here, expecting an average experience. However, the food and staff was fantastic, one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to. We bought salsa to take with us because it was that good. The staff was great too, even though they had just opened up after the COVID-19 restrictions. If we are ever in town again, we will be sure to come again.

Grossly overpriced for what you get. I ordered a shrimp/crab dish (enchiladas) and ended up with 3 tiny corn tortillas with a few pieces of meat, and a large tablespoon of beans and rice. We asked to substitute the rice/beans for veggies, so I didn't get any avocado, and the other order of a quesadilla also didn't get any veggies (as shown on the menu). Just the worst value for $50.00 worth of food. Will never stop here again.

Passing through during CoVid, called ahead wanting breakfast tacos. Owner very eager for our business, said he would fix anything we wanted. Offered a free taste of his homemade energy drinks and it was so good we ordered two. Service was great, no problems with social distancing. We all had breakfast items and it was all good.
